Full-Time | Work From Home | Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm | Hourly rate from $35, depending on skills and experience

About the Role 

We’re looking for an experienced receptionist/career administrator to be the first voice our clients and callers hear when they call LifeAbility Plan Management. Leadership skills will be highly regarded.

This role is: 

  • full-time 
  • Monday to Friday 
  • 9am–5pm  
  • work from home. 

This is a high-volume, fast-paced role. The phone rings constantly, and you’ll be moving between calls, messages and administrative tasks all day. If you thrive on being busy, stay calm under pressure and genuinely enjoy talking to people, you’ll fit right in. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Answer and manage a high volume of incoming calls throughout the day, every day 
  • Be the warm, professional, welcoming voice of LifeAbility on every call 
  • Accurately screen, triage and direct calls, or take detailed messages and route them to the right person 
  • Juggle multiple calls, tasks and systems at once without losing accuracy 
  • Complete administrative tasks accurately and within required timeframes 
  • Liaise professionally with internal staff, participants, families and external stakeholders 

Skills and Experience 

  • Genuinely confident on the phone, comfortable talking to people all day, every day 
  • Proven ability to multitask and stay organised under pressure 
  • Previous sales or client onboarding experience is desirable, with strong communication and relationship-building skills. 
  • Calm, clear communicator  
  • Strong attention to detail, even when things are busy 
  • Switchboard or high-volume reception experience highly regarded  
  • Comfortable with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel); CRM/Salesforce experience highly regarded 
  • Experience in NDIS, disability, or allied health is desirable but not essential 

Role Requirements

  • Excellent, reliable wifi and an ergonomic home office set-up
  • A quiet, private space to take calls, free from background noise and interruptions
  • Ability to set up equipment provided by LifeAbility
  • Availability during school holiday periods

Location

Must be located in Australia, preferably NSW. This is a remote role (Work From Home Office). However, you MUST be available to attend the initial 2-week training as well as periodic training on the Central Coast, NSW.
