Life Education Victoria, widely recognised by our beloved giraffe mascot Healthy Harold, has been a leading health promotion charity in Australia for over 40 years.

Our mission is to equip children with the strategies and life skills they need to navigate challenges around physical health, social and emotional wellbeing, and personal safety.

The Role:

We are looking for enthusiastic, confident and engaging Sexual Health casual and part time facilitators to join our team!

  • Deliver educational programs in primary schools across the Northern suburbs of Melbourne.
  • Facilitate Relationship and Sexual Health sessions, with a focus on helping students understand puberty and their bodies in a respectful and age-appropriate way
  • Be comfortable and confident discussing topics related to puberty and development with young students.
  • Availability: Ideally Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday – Full Days
  • You’ll receive paid training and ongoing support to ensure you’re confident and equipped to deliver engaging, impactful sessions.

The Tasks:

  • Facilitate Life Ed Victoria programs in primary schools – Facilitating multiple sessions a day
  • Use interactive and age-appropriate teaching methods to connect with students
  • Build strong relationships with teachers and school communities
  • Represent Life Ed with professionalism, passion, and positivity

About You:

  • The ability to confidently engage with children, with a fun and interactive delivery style
  • Lead and facilitate sensitive discussions
  • Strong communicator who builds trust with students, teachers, and peers
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage time effectively
  • Willingness to travel to various schools as required
  • Educational and/or allied health background preferred but not required
  • Current Working with Children Check (Employment)
  • A current driver’s license and reliable vehicle
