Description

We are looking for a proactive individual who wants to kick start their career in an office environment. The ideal candidate will have a positive, ‘can-do’ attitude, diligent, engaging and hardworking personality.

This is a full-time entry level role and on-the-job training will be provided. The successful candidate will be on a rotating roster and gain experience across three areas of the business and perform day-to-day routine administrative functions. 

These include:

Office Tasks – 

  • Supporting the Admin team with daily tasks as allocated
  • Sorting and scanning incoming mail
  • Banking and package deliveries within the CBD
  • Actively assisting the team to ensure efficient work practices are maintained
  • Assisting with in-house social events
  • Keeping meeting rooms, common areas and kitchen neat and tidy
  • Maintaining office supplies

Practice Group – 

  • Filing legal documents, physically and electronically
  • Assisting legal practice groups as instructed by the Secretaries
  • Calling external stakeholders and clients
  • Compiling documents and preparation of basic correspondences
  • Lodging requests with third parties

Reception coverage –

  • Covering receptionist’s breaks
  • Answering phone calls, taking messages, information and details of callers and directing information to relevant stakeholders
  • Greeting visitors
  • Processing outgoing mail

 

About You:

This is an entry level role, and we are not looking for someone with a lot of experience, but if you have basic foundation of administration skills/fast-food or retail industry experience, that will be advantageous.

  • Able to prioritise, multi-task with accuracy and work within deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organised with a strong attention to detail
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
