Not your average care job. And we’re proud of that.
If you’re looking for “easy shifts” and ticking boxes – this isn’t it.
But if you’re looking for meaningful work, real connection, and the kind of impact that stays with you long after your shift ends. Keep reading!
At Leora Healthcare, we do things differently.
We lead with heart, back our people, and show up when it matters most.
We’re expanding across Mosman and Sydney’s Northern Suburbs, and we’re looking for grounded, capable, and compassionate Support Workers who want to do work that actually means something.
The Work
You’ll be supporting clients in their homes and communities helping them live with dignity, independence, and choice.
Your role includes:
- Supporting daily living and personal care with respect and confidence.
- Helping clients get out into the community – appointments, activities, life stuff.
- Providing calm, consistent support (even when things feel complex).
- Following care plans and documenting support properly (because details matter).
- Building genuine relationships – not rushed, transactional care.
- This is hands-on, human work. The kind where trust matters more than speed.
Who This Is For
You’re someone who stays calm, communicates clearly, and understands that good support is about presence, not ego.
You’ll bring:
- Cert III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, Aged Care, Community Services (or similar)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- First Aid & CPR
- Driver’s licence (and confidence driving locally)
- A genuine interest in disability support. Prior experience is great, attitude is essential
Why Work with Leora?
Because here, Support Workers aren’t “just workers”, you’re the core of what we do.
-
You’re Seen, Not Just Scheduled
We take the time to know our support workers your strengths, preferences, and goals. You’re not just filling shifts; you’re building meaningful, consistent support for real people.
-
Above-Award Pay (Because Care Has Value)
We pay above award because the work you do matters. Skill, empathy, and reliability deserve recognition not just appreciation.
- Training That Builds Confidence
From paid induction before you start to ongoing learning and development, we invest in you, so you feel prepared, capable, and supported especially when supporting complex needs.
-
Support That Actually Shows Up
Our care, clinical, and leadership teams are accessible and responsive. You’re never left to “figure it out alone.” We’ve got your back always.
-
Wellbeing Isn’t a Buzzword Here
Access to Fitness Passport, wellbeing platforms, and a culture that genuinely encourages balance because caring for others starts with caring for yourself.
-
Recognition That’s Genuine
We celebrate our people – monthly shout-outs, team wins, milestones, and everyday moments that deserve to be seen. Gratitude is part of how we work.
We’ve been recognised as AFR Best Places to Work (2021–2025) and HRD Employer of Choice (2023) but what matters more is how it feels to work here: supportive, respectful, and human.
As we grow, we bring our people with us. Opportunities to step up, expand skills, or explore new pathways are part of the journey not locked behind hierarchy.
