With a strong reputation for design and construction excellence, our team of more than 80 property professionals has successfully delivered projects exceeding $5 billion in value.

Our fully integrated model allows us to control every stage of the development lifecycle. This creates a unique environment where Development Managers are not just involved in strategy, but are deeply embedded in project delivery, construction outcomes, and final product quality.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Development Manager with a strong delivery mindset to join our development team.

This role is heavily focused on the execution and delivery phase of projects for now with role expansion opportunities, ensuring developments are successfully transitioned from approval into construction and carried through to completion and settlement. You will work closely with Construction, Design, and Procurement teams to drive program, cost, and quality outcomes across multiple projects.

You will take ownership of delivering projects from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring that what is approved is what is delivered on site.

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Leading the delivery phase of projects, ensuring alignment between Development, Design, and Construction teams
  • Driving program, budget, and quality outcomes during pre-construction and construction
  • Managing and coordinating consultants to ensure buildable, compliant, and cost-effective design outcomes
  • Overseeing the transition from DA through to IFC documentation, ensuring design intent is maintained
  • Working closely with Construction teams to resolve design, authority, and delivery challenges in real time
  • Managing authority approvals, conditions of consent, and ensuring compliance through delivery
  • Monitoring project performance against key delivery metrics, including cost, program, and risk
  • Managing stakeholder relationships, including consultants, authorities, and joint vent partners
  • Overseeing project reporting, including cost tracking, program updates, and risk management
  • Supporting procurement strategy and ensuring alignment with delivery programs
  • Leading projects through to completion, handover, and settlement
  • Mentoring and supporting junior team members within the Development function

What We’re Looking For

  • 8+ years’ experience in a Development Manager or Senior Development Manager role
  • Strong track record in delivering Class 2 residential or mixed-use projects through construction to completion
  • Experience working closely with construction teams in a developer/builder or integrated environment
  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Property Economics, Construction Management or similar
  • Deep understanding of NSW planning, approvals, and construction delivery processes
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to manage budgets, programs, and risk
  • Confident communicator with the ability to drive outcomes across multidisciplinary teams
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive, solutions-focused approach

This is an opportunity to step into a role where you are not just planning projects but owning their delivery and outcomes. You will be part of a business that values accountability, quality, and collaboration, with the ability to see your projects through from concept to completion.
