We are also a long-standing NATA-accredited national testing and certification body, supported by a highly skilled, nationwide team of technical service and engineering professionals.

The Opportunity Due to continued growth and increasing demand for our specialised services, we are seeking a Calibration Technician to join our service team at our modern Boronia facility on a permanent, full-time basis. This role involves performing in-house laboratory calibration (NATA-accredited) and repair of a diverse range of instrumentation, including optical particle counters, environmental sensors, aerosol photometers, and other precision test equipment. Given the specialised nature of our operations, comprehensive training will be provided to the successful candidate.

Key Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Perform calibration and repair work within an ISO/IEC 17025-accredited laboratory
  • Follow established laboratory procedures and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Generate calibration reports and certification documentation
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date service records
  • Provide technical support to clients and internal stakeholders
  • Ensure a high standard of workmanship and attention to detail

Skills and Experience

  • Experience preferred in a similar technical role within a NATA-accredited laboratory, but not essential.
  • Experience preferred in calibration of temperature and pressure sensors, but not essential.
  • Willing to travel interstate as required for on-site calibration services.
  • Ability to troubleshoot fault find technical repairs.
  • Knowledge of electronics and/or measurement techniques
  • Ability to follow documented procedures.
  • Electronics technical tertiary education (desirable)
  • Experience writing procedures and work instructions (desirable)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and time management skills
  • Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office suite
  • Current Australian driver’s license.
  • Strong team player
  • Strong drive to expand business.
