We are a not-for-profit, community-based organisation that has been providing education and care to children from birth to 12 years of age across Tasmania for over 80 years. The role

As Service Manager, you’ll support the service through its next chapter, bringing together an existing team, established families and lead the day‑to‑day management of an education and care service in line with the National Quality Framework. Acting as Nominated Supervisor, you’ll provide ethical and pedagogical leadership, ensure compliance, and drive continuous improvement to achieve high‑quality outcomes for children and families.

Service: Long Day Care and Outside School Hours Care

You will:

  • Lead high‑quality, safe and inclusive education and care practice
  • Manage service operations, people leadership and regulatory compliance
  • Build strong relationships with children, families and educators
  • Mentor and develop teams to deliver best‑practice pedagogy
  • Lead the Quality Improvement Plan and prepare for Assessment & Rating

What you’ll bring:

  • Demonstrated leadership experience in education and care, with the capability to act as a Nominated Supervisor
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor and develop high‑performing teams
  • Strong, working knowledge of the National Quality Framework and relevant legislation
  • An ACECQA‑approved Diploma or higher qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care
  • A current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (child-related activity – childcare services) and the ability to obtain a National Police Check
