Lady Gowrie Tasmania is seeking a passionate leader to join our high performing Education and Care Leadership Team as Regional Manager to lead and support a portfolio of Outside School Hours Care and Long Day Care services in the Hobart region. This is a key leadership role focused on continuous improvement, strengthening leadership capability, driving quality outcomes and contributing to strategic initiatives that enhance services for children, families and communities.

The role
This role is ideal for a collaborative and influential leader who is passionate about developing people, driving quality outcomes and supporting services to thrive. Working as part of the Early Childhood Leadership Team and in partnership with other business areas, you will:

- Lead, coach and support Service Managers to deliver high-quality, safe and inclusive education and care services.
- Strengthen leadership capability, team performance and service culture through mentoring, coaching and professional development.
- Guide services through quality improvement and Assessment and Rating processes, driving strong outcomes under the National Quality Framework.
- Provide leadership in managing complex operational, people, family and compliance matters, supporting effective resolution and escalation where required.
- Support Service Managers in your region to achieve sustainable operational and financial outcomes through effective workforce planning, resource management and service performance.
- Contribute as a member of the Early Childhood Leadership Team, helping shape strategic initiatives and continuous improvement across Education and Care.

What you’ll bring
- Demonstrated leadership experience within early childhood education and care, including leading and developing leaders
- Proven ability to build capability, influence outcomes and support high-performing teams
- Strong working knowledge of the National Quality Framework, Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations, and contemporary education and care practice
- Experience supporting quality improvement, compliance and operational performance across education and care services
- Strong communication, relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills
- An ACECQA-approved Diploma or higher qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care
- A current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (child-related activity – childcare services) and the ability to obtain a National Police Check
- A current Tasmanian Driver Licence and willingness to travel in the Hobart region
