Expression of Interest – Transfer to New Norfolk

We’re excited to invite expressions of interest from our current LGT educators who would like to be part of this exciting new chapter!

The role:

This is your opportunity to join a dedicated team to deliver a quality play-based learning every day and be involved in bringing a new service into the Lady Gowrie Tasmania team.

In this role, you will:

  • Uphold the safety, rights and wellbeing of all children and promote a culture of child safety with a zero-tolerance approach to child maltreatment, abuse and neglect.
  • Provide meaningful and age-appropriate learning experiences that nurture children’s curiosity, creativity, and growth.
  • Actively supervise children at all times to ensure their safety and wellbeing.
  • Create engaging and welcoming room setups that promote exploration and learning
  • Document and reflect on children’s learning and development
  • Collaborate with families to build strong partnerships, share insights about children’s learning, and ensure continuity between home and the service.
  • Commit to your own professional growth and development
  • Always work in line with Lady Gowrie Tasmania’s policies, procedures, and the National Quality Framework

What we are looking for:

  • An ACECQA-approved Working towards Certificate III, Certificate III Education and Care or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
  • Previous experience with daily routine and a demonstrated strong commitment to child safety
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to work collaboratively in a team
  • Knowledge of Early Years Learning Framework (EYLY) and National Quality Framework (NQF) awareness
  • A current Tasmanian Registration for Working with Vulnerable People (child-related activity – childcare services)
