We’re looking for a detail-oriented and experienced IT Support Officer to join our team, providing crucial assistance across all aspects of our IT operations.
The Role:
We are seeking an experienced IT Support Officer to provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support across end-user computing, network infrastructure, and core IT systems. This role is responsible for supporting daily operations, resolving user incidents, maintaining IT documentation, and assisting with infrastructure administration across Microsoft and network environments.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in user support, network troubleshooting, Microsoft 365 administration, Active Directory, and IT service management, with the ability to work across both support and operational tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
User Support and Service Desk
- Manage the IT support ticketing system (Freshdesk), ensuring timely triage, escalation, and resolution of user issues.
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 IT support for hardware, software, network connectivity, and user access issues.
- Deliver technical support for end-user devices including:
- Workstations and laptops
- Printers and Print servers (drivers set up)
- Mobile devices
- VoIP systems (Avaya)
Networking and Infrastructure Support
- Troubleshoot and resolve network-related incidents, including LAN/WAN/VPN (OpenVPN) connectivity and user access issues.
- Support and maintain network equipment, including:
- Routers and switches (Cisco and Pfsense)
- Wireless Access points (UniFi)
- Printer servers (Windows Server 2025)
- Assist with administration and support of:
- Windows Server 2025
- Active Directory
- RADIUS
- NTFS permissions
- Group Policy
- Domain controller user management
Microsoft and Systems Administration
- Administer and maintain user environments and policies across:
- Microsoft 365
- SharePoint
- OneDrive
- Identity O365
- Active Directory
- Support identity, access, and policy management for end users across enterprise platforms.
Monitoring, Documentation, and Asset Management
- Monitor system health and performance metrics using Zabbix is mandatory.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date IT documentation in Confluence is mandatory.
- Support IT procurement activities, including purchasing hardware and software in ApprovalMax is mandatory.
- Assist with IT asset tracking and lifecycle management.
OT Support
- Support (permission and users’ creation) truck fleet systems such as the below is mandatory:
- Microsoft 365
- SharePoint
- MTData
- Bustle
- AdBlue System (Clarity)
- Fuel System (SmartFuel)
- Alco Connect
- Freightracker
Requirements:
Experience
- Minimum
3 years of experience in Tier 1 and Tier 2 IT support.
- Demonstrated
experience supporting users across desktop, network, and Microsoft
environments.
Technical Skills
- Working knowledge of the below is mandatory:

- SMB Permissions

- Hands-on experience in network troubleshooting and support of routers, switches, and wireless infrastructure.
- Experience supporting VoIP systems, preferably Avaya.
- Strong attention to detail with proven ability to document procedures and maintain knowledge base content.
- Confluence experience is mandatory.
- Familiarity with IT purchasing, procurement workflows, and asset management processes.
- ApprovalMax experience is mandatory.
Communication and Certifications
- Excellent communication, customer service, and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to communicate technical issues clearly to non-technical users.
- Cisco Certified Support Technician (CCST) Networking – Mandatory.
