New Graduate Position Station Hand – Expression of Interest

Summary:

We are seeking a motivated New Graduate to join our team in Chinchilla, Queensland, within the livestock industry. This permanent, full-time position offers an excellent opportunity for recent graduates to gain hands-on experience and contribute to our sustainable practices. Combining practical stationhand skills and new ways of thinking and utilising skills aquired through university level training. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting our operations and enhancing our commitment to people, livestock and land management.

Responsibilities:

• Livestock data and data analysis.
• Mustering and livestock care.
• Supplementation and nutrition of livestock.
• Ensure water requirements are met.
• Assist with implementation of new technologies.
• Collaborate with team members to develop sustainable farming practices.
• Participate in the planning and execution of community outreach programmes.
• Support the maintenance of equipment and facilities as required.
• Prepare reports and presentations on project findings and recommendations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Agriculture, Agribusiness or a related field.
• Not graduated yet – opportunity to work around university studies.
• Previous experience in agriculture or a related industry.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis software.
• A genuine interest in sustainable practices and innovation and technology.
