Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Handyperson to join our team in Chinchilla, Queensland. This permanent, full-time role is essential for maintaining and repairing agricultural equipment and facilities, ensuring operational efficiency within the agriculture, fishing, and forestry sectors. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in practical repairs and maintenance, contributing to the overall productivity of our operations.

Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on agricultural machinery and equipment.
Repair and upgrade infrastructure, including some housing repairs if able to do so.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repair tasks.
Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
Respond promptly to emergency repair requests to minimise downtime.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in a handyperson or maintenance role, preferably within the agriculture or building/ trades sector.
Strong practical skills in mechanical repairs and maintenance.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations in a workshop environment.
A valid driver’s licence is essential.
