Keystone Civil is a boutique civil construction firm specialising in road projects, renewables, and pipeline works. With continued growth and exciting projects across Victoria, we’re seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to join our team at our Geelong Head Office.

The Role

As our new Procurement Manager, you’ll own the procurement function across our project portfolio setting strategy, managing subcontractor and supplier relationships, and driving commercial outcomes from award through to close-out. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you’ll work closely with project managers and senior leadership to ensure our supply chain supports delivery on time, on budget, and to the right standard.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading end-to-end procurement across civil construction projects including earthworks, road, pipeline, and renewables scopes
  • Developing and implementing procurement strategies aligned to project and business objectives
  • Preparing and issuing RFQs, evaluating submissions, and leading commercial negotiations with subcontractors and suppliers
  • Owning the subcontractor and supplier prequalification register and panel management
  • Working with project managers to build procurement plans, manage lead times, and resolve supply chain issues
  • Administering subcontracts including progress claims, variations, disputes, and close-out
  • Identifying and managing procurement risk across the portfolio
  • Maintaining procurement records and document control standards
  • Building and improving procurement processes, templates, and reporting
  • Providing procurement guidance and support to project teams across multiple concurrent projects

About You

  • Proven experience in a senior procurement or contracts role within civil construction or infrastructure
  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation capability confident managing subcontract and supply agreements end-to-end
  • Ability to lead procurement across multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Strategic thinker who can also roll up their sleeves and get into the detail
  • Excellent stakeholder management equally comfortable with site teams, suppliers, and senior leadership
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Procore or similar platforms is an advantage
  • Relevant qualification in procurement, construction management, law, or business is advantageous
