THE OPPORTUNITY
We are preparing for a significant period of works both locally in Mackay and across various mine sites within the Bowen Basin — commencing July 2026 through to July 2027. This includes workshop overhauls, site installations, structural upgrades, and equipment refurbishment works
across multiple projects.
Due to the volume and diversity of upcoming works, we are currently seeking experienced and motivated tradespeople in the following disciplines:
- Project Managers
- Project Supervisors
- Mechanical Fitters
- Boilermakers
MINE SITE PROJECTS
All positions below require previous mine site experience and current mine site qualifications.

Monorail Overhaul | 20th July | 18 -20 Week Duration | 5/2 Roster

Major CHPP Shutdown | 17th August | 7 Day Duration | Day / Night shift

Portal Doors Upgrade & Install | July | 4 Week Duration | 5/2 Roster
MACKAY WORKSHOP PROJECTS
All positions below are Mackay based. Applicants must be locally based or have suitable accommodation in place.

Longwall Equipment Overhaul | 17th August | 16 -18 Week Duration | 5/2 Roster on Days / Nights

New Build Equipment | 1st September | 12 Week Duration | 5/2 Roster on Days

Roof Support (PRS) Overhaul | 14th September | 4 Week Duration | 6/1 Roster on Day / Night shift

Longwall Compatibility| 4th January 2027 | 15 Week Duration | 5/2 Roster
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Proven experience in your trade discipline
- Current and valid trade qualifications
- Mine site tickets and qualifications (for site-based
roles)
- Ability to work rotating rosters including day and
night shifts
- Strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and quality
outcomes
- Locally based in Mackay or able to arrange
accommodation (for Mackay roles)
