The Role
As a craftsperson, you are obsessed with quality. Anything that can be automated – is. You understand the benefits of testing and well thought out solutions to ensure clients are left satisfied and wanting more. You have a keen interest in AI and using AI tools to solve complex testing problems. From a career perspective, you have a demonstrated track record of working in cross functional agile teams to deliver cloud software and complex technical projects at scale. This is a 6-month full-time contract position.
Required skills and experience
- 5+ years of QA software testing experience, including significant automation experience
- Ability to create, execute and maintain functional test scripts for multiple in flight projects
- Experience in ensuring the QA process is followed for all features, including when features are tested by developers and business stakeholders
- Attend iteration planning sessions and participate in the sizing of the testing effort required to complete stories, ensuring external decencies are considered
- Work closely and communicate effectively with the development team and product stakeholders to ensure project outcomes adhere to agreed quality standards
- Experience testing websites across multiple browsers and devices
- Experience testing native apps (iOS and Android)
- Experience using Atlassian product suite of tools
- Experience testing APIs and Packaged based applications
- Experience managing test environment requirements and test data setup
- Experience using CI tools such as Code Pipeline, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and/or TeamCity
- Understanding of code branching techniques in Git(GIT, SVN)
Desirable skills and experience
- Experience with testing automation approaches utilising open source technologies (such as Playwright, K6, BrowserStack, Cypress, Selenium, cypress, playwright, webdriver, jmeter, Junit/TestNG, Protractor)
- Ability to understand and define testing required to verify system interfaces and integrations between various web services (white box testing)
- Hand on experience with AI Tools in test automation.
- Experience managing deployments to non prod environments
- Experience working with/maintaining an automated test suite
