Are you an experienced administrator looking to make a meaningful impact? Justice Support Centre (JSC) is seeking a highly organised and proactive Administration Officer to provide vital support across our Operations, IT and Governance functions.

About the Role
The Administration Officer will deliver high-quality administrative support to the People & Culture Manager, COO, CEO, and the wider organisation. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of our office and systems, while assisting with HR processes, IT coordination, governance compliance, and general administration. This is a part-time role, working 4 days per week.
Key responsibilities include:
- reception and front-of-house duties
- coordinating office events, meetings and staff functions
- managing procurement, mail, invoices and office supplies
- supporting recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes
- maintaining HR Training and governance records via Sentrient and SharePoint
- liaising with IT providers and managing the asset register
- coordinating maintenance across JSC offices and supporting WHS compliance.
About You
We’re looking for someone who thrives in a busy office environment and enjoys variety in their work. You will be a skilled administrator who is proactive, reliable, and comfortable balancing multiple priorities.
Essential requirements
- minimum 5 years’ experience in a complex office environment
- strong typing skills and the ability to efficiently navigate and utilise various Microsoft Office applications, e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- experience working with various software and computer systems, Macs, PCs, Windows, SharePoint, Zoom, Teams
- strong IT skills, including understanding of internet, phone systems, servers and networking
- excellent organisational and prioritisation skills
- strong written and verbal communication abilities
- ability to manage competing priorities and respond constructively in busy or time-sensitive situations
- adaptable to changing tasks and priorities with strong flexibility
- willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks, with a proactive, positive attitude and strong attention to detail
- current NSW Driver’s Licence and access to a comprehensively insured vehicle (reasonable adjustments will be considered for candidates with disabilities).
Desirable
- experience with SharePoint, or other HR/IT systems
- previous experience in the community sector
- sensitivity to issues affecting vulnerable people
- qualifications or experience in Information Technology and Compliance.
