About the Role
As an Automotive Technician at Canberra BMW, you will play a key role in delivering the ultimate driving experience by ensuring every vehicle is maintained and repaired to the highest manufacturer standards. Working within a state-of-the-art workshop, you will utilise advanced diagnostic technology and BMW systems to carry out servicing, repairs, and fault finding with precision and care.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform servicing, maintenance, and repairs in line with BMW manufacturer standards.
- Diagnose and rectify faults using BMW diagnostic systems and specialised tools.
- Conduct vehicle inspections and identify additional repair requirements.
- Complete all work to the highest standard, ensuring quality and attention to detail.
- Follow BMW repair procedures, technical guidelines, and workshop processes.
- Maintain accurate job documentation and service records.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment.
- Collaborate with the workshop team to deliver efficient and timely outcomes.
About You
You’ll bring:
- Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent)
- Experience working within a dealership or prestige automotive environment (preferred)
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding capability.
- Confidence using modern diagnostic equipment and systems.
- A passion for automotive technology and continuous learning.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- A professional attitude and pride in your work.
- Current and valid driver’s licence.
