We’re looking for an enthusiastic, reliable, and guest-focused Overnight Host to join our Guest Services team.
About The Role
The Overnight Manager is a key member of the Guest Services team, responsible for supporting
all aspects of the guest experience during overnight operations. This role
assists across multiple departments as required, including Front Office, Food
& Beverage, and Housekeeping, ensuring seamless service delivery and
maintaining the highest standards of guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Service & Experience
- Represent The Bonobo in a professional, courteous, and welcoming manner at all times.
- Deliver exceptional guest service with a high level of attention to detail.
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest enquiries, requests, and concerns.
- Build strong knowledge of the hotel’s facilities, services, and local area to assist guests effectively.
- Absorb guest feedback and complaints with empathy and professionalism, ensuring handover to Manager for a resolution.
- Maintain confidentiality and protect the privacy and security of all guests.
- Respond promptly to building-related incidents and guest concerns, ensuring clear communication with relevant departments.
Safety, Security & Compliance
- Follow all the company’s safety, emergency, security, and workplace procedures.
- Respond appropriately to safety, security, and emergency incidents.
- Conduct regular hotel security patrols and complete property-wide security checks throughout the shift.
- Ensure all emergency routes, exits, and access points remain clear and compliant at all times.
- Report maintenance, safety, and security concerns promptly to the appropriate department.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and standards.
Housekeeping & Presentation
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the hotel.
- Perform cleaning duties in restaurant, public, and back-of-house areas in accordance with company standards.
- Assist in maintaining guest-facing and operational areas to ensure a consistently exceptional presentation.
- Work collaboratively with Housekeeping, Front Office, and Security teams to uphold hotel standards.
Food & Beverage Support
- Demonstrate a sound understanding of food safety and hygiene practices, ensuring compliance with all relevant policies and procedures.
- Take and deliver room service orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring exceptional guest service standards are maintained.
- Assist with Food & Beverage operations as required during overnight service periods.
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation standards within food service areas.
Experience and Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in customer-facing roles within hospitality, accommodation, tourism, or related service industries.
- Demonstrated experience delivering exceptional customer service and creating positive guest experiences.
- Experience handling guest enquiries, requests, complaints, and incident resolution in a professional manner.
- Experience working collaboratively with multiple departments to ensure seamless operations and service delivery.
- Experience in cleaning, facilities, security, or property maintenance functions.
- Experience within hotels, serviced apartments, mixed-use developments, or commercial properties is highly desirable.
