As the Administration Assistant, you will be based in our Sydney CBD office, and work closely with the Project Managers and Facilities & Administration Manager. You will be responsible for:

• Assisting Engineers with creation of projects in Synergy;
• Assisting Engineers with fee proposals, formatting documents, specifications and reports;
• Providing administration support to an Engineering team;
• Monthly Invoicing;
• Monitor and action all invoicing queries that may come in from clients;
• Leave coverage for other admin team members, this may be in other JN offices;
• Monitor and action all invoicing queries that may come in from clients;
• Maintaining a tidy and organised office environment, ensuring communal areas are kept clean and orderly at all times; and
• Adhoc administration duties as required.
Your experience will include:
• Minimum 5 years administration experience with recent intermediate Word and Excel experience;
• Engineering consultancy experience would be a big plus!;
• Strong time management skills and ability to prioritise work;
• Excellent verbal and written communication;
• High attention to detail and problem-solving skills; and
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to multi-task.
At JN we use the Microsoft Office Suite and Synergy as our client management system. Although experience in Synergy is not essential, you do need to be a quick learner and have the ability to pick up some commonly used terminology within the engineering industry.

We enjoy monthly Accrued Days Off (ADO’s) and as voted by the JN Team, we work in the office Monday, Thursday and Friday with flexibility to work from home on Tuesday and Wednesday (once training is completed).
