About the role:

As the Women’s Hub Enterprise Program Coordinator, you will support the day-to-day running of enterprise activities across the Women’s Hub and outreach communities. This role is focused on coordinating logistics, organising resources, and keeping operations running efficiently across multiple locations.

You’ll play a critical role behind the scenes – ensuring materials, travel, production, and events are well organised – while also working alongside women in a culturally safe environment to support their participation in enterprise activities. Working closely with the Assistant Manager, you will help keep programs on track and responsive to community needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate daily operations of enterprise activities, including materials, equipment, and logistics
  • Organise travel, freight, and deliveries to remote communities
  • Support textile production processes and preparation for markets, events, and sales activities
  • Maintain stock levels, order supplies, and ensure resources are available when needed
  • Provide hands-on support to women participating in enterprise activities, encouraging engagement and confidence
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, production, participation, and sales activity
  • Assist with reporting and ensure clear communication across teams and locations
  • Troubleshoot operational issues and implement practical solutions to keep activities running smoothly
  • Build positive relationships with community members and partner organisations

What we’re looking for:

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to work independently, use initiative, and respond to changing circumstances
  • Experience in coordination, logistics, administration, or similar roles
  • Practical, hands-on approach with a focus on getting things done
  • Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability
  • Clear and confident communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Preferred but not essential:

  • Experience working with Indigenous Australians and organisations, with an understanding of challenges in rural and remote communities.
  • Experience coordinating logistics for events, markets, or retail activities
  • Experience supporting small-scale production or working with materials/products
  • Interest or experience in textiles, fashion, or creative industries
  • Experience working with Aboriginal women and communities

Other requirements:

  • Current C Class Driver’s Licence Ability to travel (including overnight stays) by road and air as required National Police Clearance (within 12 months or willingness to obtain)
