At JewishCare NSW, we provide high-quality, person-centred aged care services that strengthen the independence and wellbeing of older people in our community. We’re looking for compassionate, experienced Registered Nurses to join our Aged Care team on a casual basis.
This role is ideal for nurses who value flexibility, clinical autonomy, and meaningful connections providing care that goes beyond treatment to truly enhance quality of life.
About the role
As a Registered Nurse, you will:
- Undertake comprehensive assessments and develop person-centred nursing care plans for Home Care Package (HCP) clients.
- Provide clinical oversight, administer treatments, and ensure safe, evidence-based care within a multidisciplinary framework.
- Collaborate with Case Managers, allied health professionals, families, and GPs to deliver holistic and coordinated support.
- Contribute to continuous improvement, clinical governance, and quality care delivery in line with the Aged Care Quality & Safety Standards.
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 5 years’ nursing experience (Aged Care or Community strongly preferred)
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1)
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates
- Current Driver’s Licence and ability to travel across client homes
- Strong clinical assessment, care planning, and communication skills
- Commitment to delivering compassionate, high-quality care
(Desirable: Senior First Aid and understanding of Jewish values and community culture.)
