The Role

The Squad Manager is a highly qualified, experienced Women’s Artistic Gymnastics (WAG) coach, and a key support to the Centre Manager. They lead and collaborate with the broader coaching team, ensuring successful delivery of Jets squad programs. They create a fun, positive and empowering environment, positively coaching all staff to develop their abilities, celebrate their achievements, and reach their full potential to inspire the next generation.

Key responsibilities

  • Live our JETS values. We coach in a way that is positive, fun, kind, empowering and embraces change, creating a positive gymnastics movement.
  • Ensure the successful and optimal delivery of all squad and high level Jets programs within your centre, including collaborating with other centres
  • Lead by example to inspire and empower the wider coaching team to be the very best they can be, including managing their professional development.
  • Support the Leadership team with strategic and operational goals, including but not limited to trials, enrolments, retention, efficiencies, staff training, child safety and facilities.
  • Be the face of the centre embodying our company values, embracing change and problem solving with a positive and collaborative approach.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience managing people
  • 5-10+ years experience coaching high level WAG
  • Gymnastics Australia technical memberships FIG 2 or above for coaching
  • FIG qualified Judge
  • First Aid and CPR
  • WWCC
