Are you ready to be the trusted adviser on the high-profile projects shaping South Australia’s future?
Due to an exciting portfolio of projects, we have openings
for an experienced approvals professional at Associate, Senior Associate or
Principal level to join our Adelaide office supporting projects across SA.
About the role
The successful candidate will have opportunities to work
on projects across various market sectors, including energy and renewables,
mining and resources, waste industries, and property development, including
some of Australia’s most innovative projects. Our current and recent pipeline
includes the Northern Water Project, the Hydrogen Jobs Plan, Project
EnergyConnect, Pacific Green’s Big Battery, emerging data centres, and many of
South Australia’s developing and operating mining projects.
The role will include managing and delivering assessment
and approvals projects for our clients, including playing a key part in
developing new and existing client relationships and providing input into the
strategic direction of the team. You will collaborate with our experienced and
multi-disciplinary team with opportunities to continuously develop or refine
your skills and enhance your professional network. You will also be required to
regularly interact and work with State and Commonwealth regulatory agencies.
Interpreting legislation, government policy, standards and
guidelines to deliver tailored approvals strategies and outcomes for major
projects is a key part of the role. You will also ensure the delivery of
high-quality approval applications and technical reports to support
environmental and planning approval requirements. Throughout, you will act as a
strategic adviser — reading a complex approvals landscape, identifying the
critical risks early, and charting a clear pathway to a timely outcome.
