About the Role
At the heart of this role is people — the children we support, the teams who care for them, and the communities we partner with. You’ll work alongside service managers to create safe, inclusive and high-quality OSHC programs where children feel they belong and teams feel supported to do their best work. By mentoring our service leadership teams, strengthening safety and quality practices, and listening closely to families and stakeholders, you’ll help services grow in a way that is sustainable, compliant and true to our values. This role is about connection, leadership and continuous improvement — helping our people thrive so children can too.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Support service leaders to deliver safe, high-quality and inclusive OSHC programs aligned with the National Quality Framework.
- Champion a strong safety culture through risk management, incident response and continuous improvement.
- Lead quality, compliance and improvement initiatives, including Quality Improvement Plans and service audits.
- Mentor service managers to build capable, confident and high-performing teams.
- Support business performance across enrolments, retention, attendance and financial sustainability.
- Build strong relationships with schools, families and community partners.
- Identify opportunities for service growth, innovation and improvement.
- Use data and feedback to inform decision-making and drive positive outcomes for children and teams.
What We’re Looking For
You’ll bring leadership experience within OSHC, Child Care or Education and have a strong understanding of the National Quality Framework. You will have had a proven ability to lead services that are compliant, high-quality and operationally strong.
You’re a confident, people-focused leader who can turn strategy into action, build strong relationships, and use data to make informed decisions. Organised, adaptable and resilient, you thrive in dynamic environments and enjoy supporting teams to grow and succeed.
You’re passionate about creating inclusive, high-quality programs for children and families, and you’re committed to continuous improvement and professional development.
- Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience
- Current Working with Children Check (or ability to obtain)
- Current driver’s licence and willingness to travel between service locations
- Flexibility to work outside standard hours when required
