Description

Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for helping clients achieve their goals and improve their quality of life through the use of therapeutic activities and exercises. The Occupational Therapist will work with clients of all ages and backgrounds, and will be responsible for developing and implementing treatment plans that are tailored to each individual’s needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to determine clients’ needs and develop treatment plans
  • Work with clients to develop goals and objectives for therapy
  • Implement therapeutic activities and exercises to help clients achieve their goals
  • Monitor clients’ progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Educate clients and their families on how to use adaptive equipment and techniques to improve daily living skills
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure clients receive comprehensive care
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of clients’ progress and treatment plans

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist 
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology
  • Experience working with clients of all ages and backgrounds
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
