About the Opportunity  

We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate Support Workers (casual and permanent) to join our accommodation services across Western Sydney. This is a rewarding opportunity for individuals who are enthusiastic, reliable, and committed to making a genuine difference in the lives of others.  

 

About You 

Key Responsibilities  

  • Provide direct support to people with disability, including personal care and daily living tasks  
  • Support individuals with behavioural needs, demonstrating resilience and de-escalation skills 
  • Work flexibly across a variety of shifts, including short shifts, weekends, public holidays, sleepovers, and active awake shifts 
  • Contribute positively to a team environment and work independently when required 
  • Maintain accurate documentation and use Microsoft Office confidently 
  • Communicate clearly and respectfully, both verbally and in writing 

 

Candidate Requirements – Essential  

  • Experience supporting people with physical disabilities and/or behavioural needs 
  • Willingness to assist with personal care (eg. toileting, showering, dressing) and daily living tasks 
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow individual care plans 
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and public holidays 
  • Certificate III, Certificate IV, or Diploma in Disability/Community Services (or related field) 
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificates (or willingness to obtain prior to employment) 
  • Valid driver’s licence  
  • A comprehensively insured and registered vehicle  
  • Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)  

Preferred – Site Dependent 

  • Training in manual handling, mealtime management plans, and complex bowel care
