We are currently seeking a motivated and results focused Control Systems Engineer to join our team in a full-time permanent role (Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week) at our Perth CBD office. This role reports directly to the General Manager of Engineering and is ideal for someone passionate about delivering innovative solutions and thrives working on challenging and technically complex projects. This position will be responsible for full project lifecycle delivery, from design through to commissioning across a diverse portfolio of automation projects.

About the Role:

  • Develop and execute technical control system solutions across full project life cycle (design, coding, programming, testing, commissioning and handover)
  • Provide technical expertise in the initiation, execution, reporting, and delivery of projects
  • Develop and co-ordinate project deliverables while maintaining schedules and budgets alongside engineering and project management teams
  • Ensure compliance with HSEQ policies and design standards within your discipline
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in system design, documentation and execution
  • Provide technical input on control systems and functional safety to ensure reliability, compliance and safety

About You:

  • Bachelor of Engineering (electrical, electronic, control systems, mechatronic)
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in control systems engineering,
  • Proven experience in the delivery, development and commissioning of automation solutions across:
  • Mining and materials handling
  • Mobile machines and stockyard experience highly regarded
  • Functional Safety Certification is highly regarded
  • Networking and communications experience
  • Proficiency with systems including:
  • Schneider PlantSCADA & ControlExpert
  • Emerson Proficy Machine Edition & Cimplicity
  • Allen Bradley ControlLogix & FactoryTalk
