Description

Inscope Training (RTO #40926) is a leading provider of vocational education and training, specialising in trade-based apprenticeships and nationally recognised short courses. We pride ourselves on delivering a blended learning experience that combines online and hands-on training, supporting both the professional and personal growth of our students.

We are entering an exciting growth phase in the NSW region and are seeking a passionate and qualified Carpentry Trainer and Assessor to join our team in Sydney.

Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to)

  • Travel to sites within your allocated region
  • Deliver high-quality training and assessment to apprentice carpentry students
  • Support apprentices throughout their training contract
  • Maintain a high standard of customer service with students and employers (verbal and written communication)
  • Build strong relationships with apprentices, employers, and the Inscope team
  • Conduct regular on-site visits with apprentices and employers
  • Deliver in-house and practical training sessions
  • Undertake business development activities, including facilitating new employer and/or apprentice sign ups

 

Essential Selection Criteria

  • Demonstrated comprehensive knowledge of the carpentry trade and current industry practices
  • CPC30220 Certificate III in Carpentry (or equivalent qualification)
  • TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent) is preferred but not essential. For the right candidate, we are willing to support and fund the completion of this qualification if not currently held.
  • White Card (CPCWHS1001 – Prepare to Work Safely in the Construction Industry) preferred but not essential — willingness to obtain required
  • Hold or be willing to obtain a Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
  • Current driver’s licence and reliable transport
