The Role
We are seeking suitably qualified and experienced professionals to support the delivery of complex Defence capability outcomes across a range of program, project, engineering and logistics functions.
Working within integrated teams, successful candidates will contribute specialist expertise, collaborate with key stakeholders and support the achievement of critical capability objectives in a fast-paced Defence environment.
Test & Evaluation Engineer – Level 3 Advanced Practitioner:
We are seeking experienced Requirements and Test & Evaluation (T&E) Engineers to support the delivery of complex Defence capability outcomes within a highly regulated and safety-critical environment.
Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to the development, management and verification of requirements across complex systems and capabilities. The role will focus on establishing and maintaining robust requirements and verification frameworks, integrating test and evaluation activities throughout the lifecycle, and ensuring requirements remain traceable, measurable and aligned to capability objectives.
You will work closely with engineering, project and stakeholder groups to support requirements management, verification planning, test and evaluation activities, and the delivery of auditable evidence that supports compliance, assurance and capability acceptance.
About You
You are an experienced Requirements Engineer, Test & Evaluation Engineer or Systems Engineer with demonstrated experience working within complex engineering, capability delivery or Defence environments.
You will demonstrate experience in:
- Requirements development, analysis and management across complex systems
- Establishing and maintaining requirements baselines and traceability frameworks
- Test and Evaluation (T&E) planning, coordination and support activities
- Verification and validation methodologies, including evidence-based assurance processes
- Ensuring requirements are measurable, testable and aligned to operational or capability outcomes
- Developing and maintaining requirements, verification and compliance documentation
- Supporting engineering assurance, governance and acceptance activities
- Managing technical risks and supporting informed decision-making through structured analysis
- Collaborating with engineering, project and stakeholder groups across multidisciplinary environments
Highly regarded candidates will possess experience working within Defence, systems engineering, capability acquisition, sustainment or other highly regulated and safety-critical environments.
You will possess strong analytical, communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to manage complex technical information and contribute to the successful delivery of compliant, traceable and fit-for-purpose capability outcomes.
