The Role
Join a major technology uplift program supporting the redesign and sourcing of next‑generation network and gateway services. You’ll help shape future‑state technical requirements, assess modern industry solutions, and contribute expert insight across a structured procurement process. This is a chance to influence a high‑impact transformation, work with senior stakeholders, and bring contemporary technical thinking into a complex enterprise environment.
This role is offered in either Canberra, ACT or Docklands, VIC.
Technical Lead:
As the Technical Lead, you will guide the technical direction of a large‑scale sourcing program spanning requirements definition, market engagement, evaluation, negotiation and transition planning. You will lead the development of technical components of procurement artefacts, ensuring requirements are complete, market‑ready and aligned with enterprise strategy, cyber security obligations and operational needs.
You will work closely with architects, SMEs, commercial advisors and governance bodies to shape future‑state capabilities, assess provider submissions, and provide authoritative advice on solution feasibility, risks, dependencies and implementation considerations. You will lead technical evaluation workshops, contribute to negotiation positions, and prepare structured advice for executive and governance forums.
This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, hands‑on technical analysis, and the ability to translate complex information into clear, defensible recommendations that support high‑stakes procurement decisions.
