The Role

Our client requires one highly skilled Software Developer with well-established software development skills, and a proven ability to work within an integrated team of technical/non-technical personnel. The role will support the design, development and integration of computer vision (CV) and related machine learning (ML) processes.

About You

  • Develop software using a variety of software languages and development environments;
  • Contribute to the delivery of high quality analysis and User Experience outcomes;
  • Adhere to software engineering processes and contribute to software engineering process improvement;
  • Develop CV models with guidance and support of data scientists, including participation in data collection activities;
  • As required, seek knowledge from subject-matter experts on the specific intelligence problem and integrating feedback from these users as solutions are developed and deployed;
  • Document processes in accordance with relevant policies;
  • Communicate with the team, wider organisation and partners about any solutions created;
  • Work as a part of a small, cohesive team maintaining productive working relationships. Security Clearance
  • Must hold either a current Top Secret Positive Vetting (TSPV) security clearance OR have held a TSPV in the previous 12-month period (which has since been downgraded).
  • Proven experience in software development, with knowledge and experience of Python.
  • Demonstrated high-level interpersonal skills to communicate results appropriately for a range of audiences.
  • Extensive experience working collaboratively in a team with multi-disciplinary experts and solving real problems.
