The Role

We are seeking two experienced Learning & Development Officers (TSPV cleared) to support the delivery of high-quality training and capability uplift programs within a complex and dynamic national security environment. These roles provide an opportunity to contribute to the development of workforce capability through the design, development, coordination and delivery of engaging learning solutions for a diverse range of users.

Working closely with stakeholders, subject matter experts and technical teams, you will play a key role in ensuring learners are equipped with the knowledge and skills required to effectively utilise business systems, applications and technology platforms. These positions are suited to professionals who are passionate about adult learning, continuous improvement and delivering meaningful learning outcomes.

As a Learning & Development Officer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, coordinating and delivering a broad range of training solutions and learning activities. You will facilitate face-to-face, virtual and e-learning programs, develop learning materials and resources, and contribute to the ongoing improvement of training products and services.

You will work closely with stakeholders to identify learning needs, coordinate training activities, monitor learner engagement and evaluate training effectiveness. The role also includes maintaining learning records, reporting on training outcomes, supporting quality assurance activities and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

This is a varied and rewarding position that combines instructional design, training delivery, stakeholder engagement and learning administration within a highly collaborative environment.

About You

You are an experienced Learning and Development professional with a strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies and contemporary training practices. You have demonstrated experience designing, developing and delivering engaging learning solutions that support capability development and achieve measurable learning outcomes.

You are confident facilitating training programs and workshops across a range of delivery methods, including face-to-face, virtual and e-learning environments. Your ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively enables you to engage diverse audiences and create learning experiences that are practical, relevant and user-focused.

You possess strong written communication skills and have experience developing high-quality training materials, learner guides, documentation, reports and supporting resources. You are comfortable evaluating training effectiveness, analysing feedback and performance data, and implementing improvements that enhance learning outcomes.

You have experience using Learning Management Systems (LMS) and associated learning technologies and are confident managing training records, reporting and learning administration activities. Experience with Atlassian products, including Jira and Confluence, will be highly regarded.

A collaborative and proactive professional, you build strong working relationships with stakeholders, subject matter experts, vendors and service providers to deliver successful learning outcomes.

Experience working within Defence, Intelligence, Government or other highly regulated environments will be highly regarded.

Mandatory Requirement: Candidates must hold a current TSPV Security Clearance and be willing to undergo an Organisation Suitability Assessment (OSA) prior to commencement.
