The Role
We are seeking suitably qualified and experienced professionals to support the delivery of complex Defence capability outcomes across a range of program, project, engineering and logistics functions.
Working within integrated teams, successful candidates will contribute specialist expertise, collaborate with key stakeholders and support the achievement of critical capability objectives in a fast-paced Defence environment.
Program Governance Support (L3 Advanced Practitioner):
We are seeking an experienced Program Governance professional to support governance and program coordination activities within a complex Defence capability environment.
In this role, you will support the ongoing development and continuous improvement of governance policies, procedures and frameworks, ensuring governance arrangements remain effective and fit for purpose. You will contribute to the development and maintenance of governance documentation and artefacts, support the coordination and achievement of program objectives, and assist with stakeholder engagement activities across a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
The role requires the ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams, manage competing priorities and provide governance support that enables informed decision-making and effective program delivery.
The role location is Canberra – ACT and an NV1 clearance is required for this role.
About You
You are an experienced governance or program professional with demonstrated experience supporting governance frameworks, policies and program delivery activities within a Defence, government or similarly complex environment.
You will demonstrate experience in:
- Supporting the development, implementation and continuous improvement of governance policies, procedures and frameworks
- Developing and maintaining governance documentation, artefacts and supporting program documentation
- Coordinating activities that support the achievement of program objectives and outcomes
- Engaging and liaising with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders
- Supporting governance, reporting and program coordination activities within a complex environment
- Prioritising and managing competing work priorities to meet business objectives and deadlines
- Exercising sound judgement and initiative while considering broader business impacts and longer-term outcomes
You will possess strong communication, stakeholder engagement and organisational skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively to support effective governance and program delivery outcomes.
