The opportunity requires candidates to host training program to develop logistics expertise at the operational level by delivering the below requirements in person.

 

The Role

  • Training planning and scheduling: Develop and manage course plans, schedules, program schedules, forward work plans, and program management plans
  • End-to-end course administration: Manage course nominations, joining instructions, student administration, records, certification, and course completion requirements
  • Training delivery and facilitation: Deliver training sessions, facilitate syndicate discussions and practical exercises, support learner engagement, and coordinate training through platforms such as MS Teams
  • Training materials development: Design, develop, and provide participant manuals, facilitator guides, presentations, assessments, exercises, and eLearning content
  • Stakeholder, lecturer, and participant coordination: Coordinate visiting lecturers, key stakeholders, international participants, and support engagement activities throughout training delivery
  • Assessment, evaluation, and continuous improvement: Manage learner assessments, collect and analyse feedback, conduct post-session reviews, and implement improvements aligned to Evaluation Frameworks
  • Program reporting, risk, and contract deliverables: Prepare monthly reports, meeting artefacts, risk and issues registers, final contract reports, and final training reports covering attendance, outcomes, feedback, risks, performance, effectiveness, and recommendations.

 

 About You

  • Experience in a similar role
  • Strong understanding of the Scope of Task and required outcomes
  • Ability to deliver consistent, high-quality training within a Defence environment
  • Demonstrated experience delivering similar training services, preferably within Defence
  • Proven capability in training design, development, delivery, assessment, and administration
  • Current experience, or demonstrated capability, in developing and administering model-based Learning Management Systems
  • Ability to identify, manage, and report key risks and issues
  • Capacity to operate within Defence systems, processes, and constraints
  • Experience in managing dependencies, including Government Furnished Material

 

The role is based in Canberra, requires a current AGSVA NV1 and does not offer remote or hybrid work arrangements.
