Non-Executive Board Director

• Ongoing, paid position with a well-established NFP in Sydney, NSW
• Approximately two days commitment per month
• Join a highly engaged, stable and experienced Board

ICLA has an exciting opportunity for two passionate and experienced Directors to join our Board.

As a Director at ICLA, you will make a meaningful contribution to the strategic direction, governance and long-term sustainability of ICLA, supporting our continued growth and impact in the community. Working alongside an experienced Board and executive team, you will help shape the future of an organisation that supports people living with mental health challenges and disability to live independently in the community.

Board Skill Requirements:

• One role has been identified for an Aged Care Clinical Governance Leader
• An additional director role is being sought to complement the skills of our existing board
• You will also bring strong governance, strategic, and financial acumen experience

Desirable

• AICD Company Directors Course or similar governance education
• Strong knowledge of the for-purpose sector, aged care, community services, mental health or disability
• Lived experience of mental health challenges, disability, or as a family member/carer
• Diverse backgrounds and perspectives, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people
• Experience in one or more of the following areas will be viewed favourably: Digital Governance, Clinical Governance, Legal, Property Management and/or Fundraising
