Summary:

The Production Manager for our beverage operations in Moorabool, Victoria, will oversee the entire production process, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met. This role is crucial for maintaining our commitment to delivering high-quality products while optimising production costs and resources. The successful candidate will lead a team of production staff, implement best practices, and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the production environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee daily production operations to ensure targets are met.
  • Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure product standards.
  • Lead, train, and develop production staff to enhance team performance.
  • Monitor production metrics and prepare reports for senior management.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the production area.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as supply chain and quality assurance, to ensure smooth operations.
  • Manage inventory levels and coordinate with procurement for raw materials.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a production management role, preferably in the beverage industry.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a manufacturing environment.
