Head of Quality

Summary:

As the Head of Quality at our manufacturing facility in Moorabool, Victoria, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. This permanent, full-time position requires a seasoned professional who can lead quality assurance initiatives, drive continuous improvement, and foster a culture of excellence within the organisation. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining our reputation for delivering superior products to our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement quality assurance strategies and policies to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Lead and mentor the quality assurance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to assess product quality and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Analyse quality data and metrics to drive decision-making and enhance product quality.
• Prepare and present quality reports to senior management and stakeholders.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in quality management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in quality management within the manufacturing sector.
• Proven track record of leading quality assurance teams and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems and methodologies, such as ISO 9001.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficiency in quality management software and tools.
