We’re on the lookout for a hands‑on Foreman to join our Wee Waa dealership in a small but mighty town. Great people, great farming, great lifestyle… and yes, plenty of big green machines.
If you love mixing leadership with real mechanical work (not just sitting behind a desk), this role is right up your alley. Workshop one minute, out in the field the next, and just enough admin to keep everything running like it should.
You’ll be:
- Assist the Service Manager in training and mentoring technicians of all experience levels.
- Coordinating daily jobs, services, repairs, and keeping things moving smoothly
- Identify, inspect, and quote preseason harvester and tractor services.
- Looking for ways to boost efficiency, improve workflow, and lift revenue
- Carry out service, repairs, and maintenance on agricultural machinery
- Diagnose and interpret machine faults with precision using diagnostic tools
- Review and finalise job cards for accurate documentation
- Handle Customer Concerns, address complaints and escalate issues to the Service Manager when necessary.
About You
You’re someone who likes to get stuck in, lead from the front, and bring the team along with you. Fast‑paced days don’t scare you; they motivate you.
You’ll bring:
- A trade qualification in Heavy Vehicle or Diesel Mechanics
- Leadership experience – coaching, supporting, motivating your team
- 5+ years in service roles with solid technical skills
- A resilient, organised way of working
- Strong customer service skills and a friendly, down‑to‑earth communication style
If you’ve worked in ag or around John Deere gear before, even better, but not essential.
