We’re on the lookout for a hands‑on Foreman to join our Coleambally dealership in a small but mighty town. Great people, great farming, great lifestyle… and yes, plenty of big green machines.
If you love mixing leadership with real mechanical work (not just sitting behind a desk), this role is right up your alley. Workshop one minute, out in the field the next, and just enough admin to keep everything running like it should.
About the Role
This role gives you plenty of variety and zero chance of being bored. You’ll lead the team, get your hands dirty when needed, and keep the workflow humming.
You’ll be:
- Supporting and mentoring a crew of qualified and apprentice technicians
- Coordinating daily jobs, services, repairs, and keeping things moving smoothly
- Looking for ways to boost efficiency, improve workflow, and lift revenue
- Carrying out repairs, servicing, and maintenance on agricultural machinery
- Using diagnostic tools to pinpoint issues and solve problems fast
- Reviewing and finalising job cards so everything’s documented properly
About You
You’re someone who likes to get stuck in, lead from the front, and bring the team along with you. Fast‑paced days don’t scare you; they motivate you.
You’ll bring:
- A trade qualification in Heavy Vehicle or Diesel Mechanics
- Leadership experience – coaching, supporting, motivating your team
- 5+ years in service roles with solid technical skills
- A resilient, organised way of working
- Strong customer service skills and a friendly, down‑to‑earth communication style
If you’ve worked in ag or around John Deere gear before, even better, but not essential.
