These opportunities will support HMRI’s Research Platforms and Imaging Centre, providing the essential administrative and operational support that enables researchers, research participants, clinicians, and industry partners to access high-quality research infrastructure and services.

About the Opportunities
We currently have part-time opportunities available to support HMRI’s Research Platforms and Imaging Centre.
Working closely with the Commercial Services Manager and Platforms, responsibilities may include:
- Providing administrative and operational support to research platforms and facilities.
- Coordinating project documentation and administrative processes.
- Supporting client and stakeholder onboarding activities.
- Supporting invoicing, purchasing, and financial administration processes.
- Maintaining accurate information within business systems and databases.
- Supporting contract administration and document management.
- Assisting with service bookings and utilisation tracking.
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.
- Providing general administrative support to assist researchers, platform staff, and external stakeholders.
- Imaging Centre Reception and Administration Support
We also have an opportunity to support HMRI’s Imaging Centre, a key facility that enables researchers to undertake advanced imaging studies across a range of research programs and recently have expanded our services to clinical patients.
In this role, you will provide reception and administrative support to research participants, patients, researchers, clinicians, and external stakeholders, ensuring a professional, welcoming, and efficient
experience.
Responsibilities may include:
- Welcoming and assisting research participants, patients, and visitors.
- Managing bookings, appointments, and enquiries.
- Coordinating administrative processes associated with imaging services.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Liaising with researchers, clinicians, and operational teams.
- Providing exceptional customer service while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
- Supporting the day-to-day administration of the Imaging Centre.
Employment Details
Both opportunities are part-time positions at 0.6 FTE and are available on a maximum-term basis until 20 December 2026 with opportunity to become permanent.
Imaging Centre Reception and Administration Support
Monday, Friday and Saturday.
Research Platform and Commercial Services Support
Flexible days and hours of work.
Working arrangements will be discussed with the successful candidate based on operational requirements and availability.
