About the role
As a Neighbourhood Officer, you will manage a portfolio of customers and deliver high-quality tenancy management services. You’ll build strong relationships with customers, stakeholders and community partners while ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and organisational policies.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, solving problems and making a meaningful impact within the community.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage a portfolio of tenancies and maintain accurate customer records
- Conduct routine property inspections and complete follow-up actions
- Support customers to sustain their tenancies and achieve positive outcomes
- Resolve tenancy issues, complaints and anti-social behaviour matters
- Monitor rent accounts and assist customers experiencing financial hardship
- Build strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with tenancy legislation, policies and procedures
REQUIREMENTS
- Current NSW Driver Licence and access to a comprehensively insured vehicle
- Police Check
- Working with Children Check
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a community services, housing or related sector
DESIRABLE
- Certificate IV in Community Services or equivalent
- Previous tenancy management experience
