ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Customer Service Officer at Hume Housing, you’ll be the welcoming face and voice of Hume Community Housing. You’ll provide outstanding customer service by responding to enquiries via phone, email and face-to-face, ensuring every interaction is professional, empathetic and solution focused.

12 Months contract working 28 hours across four days each week, you’ll support customers, assist with tenancy enquiries and provide administrative support to our Housing Team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Respond to customer enquiries via phone, email and in person
  • Provide accurate information regarding housing services and tenancy matters
  • Triage enquiries and direct customers to the appropriate team
  • Process customer requests and maintain accurate records
  • Support rental payment enquiries and general administration
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure timely resolution of customer enquiries
  • Deliver positive customer experience with every interaction

REQUIREMENTS

  • ·Current Police Check
  • Working with Children Check
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Previous customer service experience (phone, email and face-to-face)
