Located on beautiful Bribie Island, Bribie Pines Island Village is a friendly and established residential community offering affordable, low-maintenance living in a peaceful coastal setting. Home to a close-knit community of residents, the village provides a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment with a strong focus on community spirit and resident satisfaction.
We are currently looking for a Casual Cleaner to join our team, working approximately 12 hours per week. This role is essential in maintaining the presentation, cleanliness, and overall appeal of our community facilities and common areas.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Cleaner, you will play an important role in ensuring our village remains clean, well-presented, and welcoming for residents, visitors, and prospective residents.
Working within a residential village environment, you will be responsible for maintaining community facilities, amenities, and common areas to a high standard. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will contribute to creating a positive living environment for our residents.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Clean and maintain village community facilities, amenities, and common areas to a high standard.
- Ensure all shared spaces are clean, tidy, and well-presented.
- Monitor cleaning supplies and report replenishment requirements.
- Report maintenance issues and safety concerns as required.
- Support the village team with general housekeeping duties across the community.
- Assist in maintaining a welcoming environment for residents and visitors.
ABOUT YOU
The successful applicant will possess:
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience (preferred, however training will be provided).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards.
- Ability to work efficiently and independently.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Friendly, reliable, and resident-focused attitude.
- Willingness to assist with a variety of tasks across the village.
- Availability to work across a flexible roster.
- Availability for an immediate start.
- Basic computer skills (preferred).
