About House Made Hospitality

House Made Hospitality is a Sydney-based, globally-inspired hospitality group with people, quality, and care at heart.

Since opening Hinchcliff House in early 2021, we’ve grown to operate 11 distinctive venues. Each carries its own identity, its own story, and its own loyal community, and we work hard to honour that in everything we put out.

We’re a team that takes pride in what we do without taking ourselves too seriously. We love good food, great drinks, and the kind of hospitality that makes people feel genuinely welcome.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Cellar Manager to oversee cellar operations across our CBD venues. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys organisation, stock control and working behind the scenes to support venue operations.

The role is primarily daytime hours and will involve managing inventory, supplier deliveries, stocktakes, invoice approvals and maintaining cellar spaces to a high standard.

  • Manage beverage stock across multiple venues.
  • Place orders and maintain supplier relationships.
  • Accept deliveries and ensure stock is stored correctly.
  • Conduct regular stocktakes and investigate discrepancies.
  • Manage stock rotation and minimise wastage.
  • Approve invoices and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Ensure cellar areas are organised, safe and compliant.
  • Maintain cellar equipment and coordinate repairs when required.
  • Work closely with venue management teams to support service operations.
  • Lead the cellar team, including rostering, task delegation and day-to-day coordination.
  • Assist with other operational tasks as required.

About You

  • Previous experience in a cellar, stores or stock control role within hospitality.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Good understanding of wine, spirits and beverage management.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach and willingness to assist where needed.
  • Experience with Bepoz, Lightyear or similar systems is advantageous.

Why Join House Made Hospitality?

  • Generous group discounts.
  • Strong career development opportunities.
  • Work alongside some of the industry’s best operators.
  • Supportive team culture.
  • Ongoing professional and personal development opportunities.
