Description

Building & Cellar Maintenance Role

Sydney CBD | Full-time | 5 days across Monday–Saturday

House Made Hospitality is looking for a reliable, hands-on, and proactive team member to support the day-to-day operations and maintenance of our venues and back-of-house spaces across our Sydney CBD precinct.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys staying organised, takes pride in maintaining high standards, and thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities

Building & BOH Operations

  • Receive, check, and organise daily deliveries
  • Maintain kitchen cool rooms and CBD storerooms
  • Liaise with suppliers and assist with invoice management
  • Ensure storage areas remain clean, organised, and operationally efficient

Cellar & Beverage Support

  • Receive and restock beverage deliveries across venues
  • Maintain cellar organisation, cleanliness, and stock rotation
  • Support venue teams with operational beverage requirements

General Maintenance & Operations

  • Coordinate daily waste removal and disposal management
  • Maintain sundry, takeaway, and disposal areas
  • Assist with ad-hoc maintenance, stock movement, and general upkeep tasks across the precinct

About You

  • Experience in a cellar/ maintenance role
  • Reliable, punctual, and highly organised
  • Strong attention to detail and proactive attitude
  • Physically capable of manual handling tasks
  • Comfortable working independently and within a collaborative team environment
  • Previous experience in hospitality operations, logistics, maintenance, cellar, warehouse, or facilities support is advantageous
