About the role

An excellent opportunity is available for a high-performing Bid Advisor to join our accomplished Business Development and Marketing team, based in either Brisbane or Perth. Providing strategic advice and insights to partners and legal practitioners, the role will support and deliver on all aspects of the bid process across multiple practice groups. This role is a permanent, full-time role, although some part-time and flexible work arrangements may be considered.

In this varied role you will be drafting, proofing and delivering persuasive market facing bid documents, tailored to individual bids and tenders. Your will also enjoy researching the market and clients, providing your direct impact into our bid strategy which supports our firm-wide strategy.

About you

Your energy, excellent writing, project management and stakeholder engagement skills will see you succeed in this role and integrate into a cohesive, high performing team. In addition, ideally you will have:

  • A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications or a related field
  • Solid experience supporting bids, proposal writing, marketing communications, or a related role within a professional services environment (ideally legal or accounting)
  • A strong understanding of the principles of effective bid writing and proposal development.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and exceptional editing and proofreading abilities.
  • The ability to synthesise complex information and present it clearly and concisely.
  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • The ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ideally design software (Indesign and Canva)
