Our opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Lead Educators to join our brand-new Childcare Centre Park Ridge in Lancewood Street. This is a unique opportunity to have a genuine opportunity to help us build out and deliver programs across various age groups at Brisbane’s newest and highest quality service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
- Build strong, supportive relationships with children, families, and staff.
- Observe and document children’s progress, ensuring individualised learning plans are in place.
- Collaborate with colleagues to continually improve the quality of our educational programs.
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and maintain a safe, nurturing environment for all.
- Assist with open and close procedures as required.
- Assist with the continuous improvement of the rooms and centre.
- Engage with Centre Management with activities and initiatives.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Completed Diploma in Early Childhood Education.
- At least 3 years’ experience delivering exceptional experiences as a Lead Educator.
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certificates.
- Valid Working with Children Check (Blue Card).
- Strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passionate about early childhood education and dedicated to nurturing a love of learning in children.
