Our opportunity: 

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Lead Educator to join our brand new Childcare Centre on Old Cleveland Road in Camp Hill. This is a unique opportunity to have a genuine opportunity to help us build out and deliver programs across various age groups at Brisbane’s newest and highest quality service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
  • Build strong, supportive relationships with children, families, and staff.
  • Observe and document children’s progress, ensuring individualised learning plans are in place.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to continually improve the quality of our educational programs.
  • Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and maintain a safe, nurturing environment for all.
  • Assist with open and close procedures as required.
  • Assist with the continuous improvement of the rooms and centre.
  • Engage with Centre Management with activities and initiatives.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education.
  • At least 3 years experience delivering exceptional experiences as a Lead Educator.
  • Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certificates.
  • Valid Working with Children Check (Blue Card).
  • Strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passionate about early childhood education and dedicated to nurturing a love of learning in children.
