Our opportunity: 

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Centre Manager to help open our brand-new purpose-built childcare center in Munruben. This is an exciting opportunity to play a significant role in building an exceptional team and brining the Honour ELC ethos to Early Learning to Brisbane’s north side.

About you: 

Experience: Minimum 3 years’ proven experience as a Centre Director or in a senior leadership role within a childcare setting 

Qualification: A Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or higher) 

Skills: Strong people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team by demonstrating authentic and consistent leadership.  A passion for early childhood education and a genuine commitment to creating a respectful, nurturing and inclusive environment. Strong ability to build and grow a positive reputation within the local community.

Your role as the Centre Manager.

  • Build a supportive and collaborative environment where team members can thrive.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain top talent. 
  • Oversee budgets and centre costs with the ability to identify opportunities for growth, improve operational systems, and lead the Centre towards increased occupancy and ensure financial sustainability. 
  • A strong knowledge of regulatory requirements ensuring your centre remains fully compliant with all relevant legislation.
  • Deliver a high-quality educational program striving for best practice and continuous improvement.
  • Optimise staffing through strategic rostering, ensuring the right people are in the right places.
  • Develop professional and positive relationships with families.
  • Champion a strong safety culture, implementing processes to ensure safety risks are managed.
