Food production cleaning hand

We are seeking a dedicated Cleaning Hand to assist in our Organic food production facility. This role is essential for ensuring a smooth workflow and supporting our Production team by maintaining cleanliness and organization in the production rooms. Ideal for individuals who are reliable and eager to contribute to a fast-paced environment, this position plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality products to our customers. Casual position, no weekends or late nights. Hours will be between 6.30am and 3.30pm. Responsibilities: – Wash and sanitize baking trays, trolleys, utensils, and production equipment. – Maintain cleanliness and organization of the production and storage areas. – Assist Team Leader and production staff with food preparation tasks as needed. – Dispose of waste and manage recycling in accordance with health and safety regulations. – Follow all food safety and hygiene standards. – Qualifications: – No formal education required however, a high school diploma is preferred. – Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is an advantage. – Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks. – Strong attention to detail and commitment to monitoring cleanliness. – Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. – Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
